Apocalypse Healer 5 was released in ebook form earlier this year, but the audiobook arrives September 2, with Peter Berkrot narrating.

For audio-first readers, September 2—not the earlier book date—is the one that matters.

A new progression-fantasy series enters the queue this week.

Aethon describes Arabella Unbound as a zero-to-hero progression fantasy rather than straight LitRPG, so it sits just outside TLQ’s core lane. But as a Book 1 with a sub-10-hour runtime, it looks like an accessible starting point for listeners who enjoy progression-heavy stories alongside LitRPG.

After finishing The Primal Hunter 15, I started Descend, David Burke’s LitRPG/GameLit series narrated by Daniel Wisniewski and Rebecca Woods. Spotify listeners: Podium lists the first two individual Descend audiobooks there, although the 62-hour complete-series edition is currently listed separately.
